Create Order Refund

Create a refund from a received payment.

Ecart Pay helps your to seamlessly create refunds to your customers.

There are two types of refunds, partial or total refund. Ecart Pay takes care of determining which kind of refund is depending on the amount to return.

Using this endpoint you are able to reimburse the payment to the same payment method that was used to pay the order.

The reason string needs to contain one of the following values.

• "requested"
• "duplicate"
• "fraudulent"

Note: Not all payment methods allow refunds.

Here are a list of payments methods that are not available for refund.

• Cash Payments.
• Very Old Payments.
